Trifecta Capital has provided venture debt to TravClan, a Delhi-based B2B travel platform, as part of a $5m round that also included equity from Flipkart and August One, TravClan announced on 22 October 2026. The company described Trifecta Capital's participation as debt financing.
According to Inc42, Flipkart and Singapore-based August One took the equity portion of the round, while Trifecta provided the debt. The split between debt and equity was not disclosed.
TravClan plans to use the proceeds to strengthen its AI and booking technology, expand destination operations across key international markets, deepen direct supply relationships and build infrastructure to serve larger travel businesses and platforms.
Founded in 2018 by Arun Bagaria, Chirag Agrawal and Ashish Thapliyal, TravClan provides supply, technology and fulfilment infrastructure for travel agents and travel businesses selling international trips. More than 15,000 travel agents in India use the platform, with around 40% of its business coming from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Arun Bagaria, co-founder and chief executive of TravClan, said, "Our ambition is to make TravClan the infrastructure that any travel business can build on instead of having to recreate the entire travel stack itself."
With the latest round, TravClan has raised more than $11m to date from investors including Leo Capital, TheVentures, Hashed, August One, Flipkart and angel investors. It raised a $2.2m pre-Series A round in 2021 led by TheVentures and Leo Capital, then extended that round with $4.7m led by Hashed Emergent in 2022.
Flipkart took a minority stake in TravClan earlier in October 2026, according to Inc42, to support the international holiday offerings of Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel.
Trifecta Capital is an Indian venture debt manager that says it has partnered with more than 220 companies. On 1 October 2026, it said Trifecta Venture Debt Fund IV had received in-principle approval for an allocation under India's NPS Bharat fund of funds programme; no amount was given.
