Palatine Growth Credit has provided INSTANDA with a growth credit facility to support international expansion, hiring and further investment in the company's technology. Palatine announced the financing on 3 August 2026.

The size of the facility was not disclosed. INSTANDA said the money will be used to expand in existing and new markets, building on operations in the UK, the US and Australia, to hire staff and to invest in AI and data science.

INSTANDA develops a no-code platform used by insurance carriers, managing general agents and brokers to build and launch products. The London-based company was founded in 2015 by Tim Hardcastle and Derek Hill. Hardcastle is chief executive. He said the facility would allow INSTANDA to scale its team, strengthen its infrastructure and invest further in AI and data science. William Chappel, managing partner of Palatine Growth Credit, said the money would support further expansion.

The facility follows a $20 million equity round announced on 15 October 2025, led by Frankfurt-based CommerzVentures, with participation from existing investors Toscafund and Dale Ventures and company adviser Bronek Masojada. INSTANDA said that round took total funding to more than $85 million and would be used to expand in North America and Europe, advance data-science capabilities and support acquisitions. Insurance Advisory Partners advised INSTANDA on the equity raise. In June 2022 the company raised $45 million in a round led by Toscafund, with Dale Ventures participating.

Palatine Growth Credit raised its maiden fund in 2024 to lend to established technology companies in the UK. The fund reached a £75 million first close in February 2024, with commitments from British Business Investments, a subsidiary of the British Business Bank, and local authority pension funds. Palatine held a final close in May 2024 and has since described the vehicle as an £81 million fund.

On 8 June 2026 Palatine said the fund had passed £50 million of committed limits across 13 deals, amounting to around two thirds of the vehicle. Palatine Growth Credit sits within the Palatine Group, the Manchester private equity firm founded in 2005, alongside the group's buyout and impact funds. The firm is headquartered in Manchester and has offices in London and Birmingham.
