Announced

EIFO, the Danish Export and Investment Fund, has provided a match loan to Velatir beside a €5 million seed. The size of the loan was not disclosed.

The equity was co-led by Spintop Ventures, a new investor, and Ugly Duckling Ventures, which backed the pre-seed. Norrsken Evolve returned. Angels Jan Oberhauser, founder of n8n, and Thomas Visti also joined.

Velatir, led by Chief Executive and co-founder Michael Sørensen, makes software that lets firms see and control the AI their staff use. The Odense company said it will use the capital for European expansion and hiring.

It was founded in 2025 by Sørensen with Elias Sørensen, Christian Møller and Andreas Paulli. It closed a DKK 10 million pre-seed, about €1.35 million, in February.

EIFO is Denmark’s state export and investment fund. It added the match loan alongside the seed. Terms of the loan were not disclosed.
