January Capital has provided Rently with a $12m growth credit facility to extend its rent flexibility offering across Singapore, Hong Kong and the UAE, and into new markets. Rently announced the facility on 27 October. Terms beyond the size were not disclosed.

Rently runs a rental commerce platform that lets tenants choose how and when they pay rent. It operates in Singapore, Hong Kong and the UAE. The company points to the UAE: it says it has handled more than AED 100m of rental contracts there, with volume up more than fivefold year on year.

Rently says it is running at more than $50m in annualised rental volume. Year to date, volume is nearly three times the level of the same period of 2025. More than 2,400 tenants pay rent through the platform.

Jason Edwards, partner, growth credit at January Capital, said, "Rently addresses a real financing constraint for tenants across different rental markets."

Rently chief executive Shiv Mahajan said, "This capital lets us say yes to more tenants, faster, across the UAE, Singapore and Hong Kong, while our equity stays focused on building new products and expanding into new markets."

No equity round was announced alongside the facility. Rently previously raised $3m in Pre-Series A funding. The release said the facility strengthens its capital stack as it gears up for its Series A, with new markets planned in 2027. The Dubai-datelined version of the release, carried by Zawya, said Rently is preparing a Series A equity raise of $10m to $15m.

January Capital is a Singapore-headquartered multi-strategy investment firm focused on technology-enabled companies across Asia-Pacific, with early-stage venture equity and growth-stage credit strategies. Its Growth Credit Fund reached an oversubscribed final close of more than $130m on 15 December 2025 and typically provides financing of around $10m to $20m. The Rently release does not say which January Capital vehicle funded the facility. January Capital's growth credit arm was also among the lenders on Silicon Box's S$100m debt facility announced on 8 June 2026.
