A €4m debt financing line from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock has been signed by Crescenta, a Spanish digital manager for investment in private equity funds. Crescenta announced it in a statement on 26 October, as reported by Europa Press. The terms of the line beyond its size were not disclosed, and the sources did not identify the specific funds and accounts managed by BlackRock.

The financing line will be used to back technological innovation and business development at Crescenta. It adds to the €5m equity round closed in April, bringing the total raised by the company over six months to €9m.

Founded at the end of 2023 by Eduardo Navarro, its chairman, and Ramiro Iglesias, its chief executive and co-founder, Crescenta provides digital access to investment in private equity funds. El Confidencial reported that the company has more than 4,500 investors, has invested in more than 35 funds through its private equity vehicles and has assets under management of more than €275m.

El Confidencial also reported that Crescenta aims to break even in 2027. The publication said the company lost €3.75m in the last financial year, taking cumulative losses since inception to €6.2m.

On 8 April, Crescenta closed a €5m equity financing round with Endeavor Catalyst as a new investor. The round was led again by Kfund, which invested alongside its $250m growth fund Leadwind, with Acurio Ventures and FJ Labs increasing their stakes. Kfund and FJ Labs backed Crescenta from its first round in 2023, while Acurio joined in 2025 in its second round.

El Confidencial described BlackRock as the world's largest asset manager, with $15.5 trillion of assets under management. Crescenta chief executive Ramiro Iglesias said the backing "reinforces our conviction that we are building a solid firm, with the ambition to lead our category and able to obtain financing from top-tier institutional investors", in comments translated from Spanish and reported by El Confidencial. The publication reported that Crescenta expects the backing to help attract more top-tier firms beyond Spain. It said Crescenta's relationship with BlackRock, as with KKR, CVC, Permira, Apollo and Ardian, stems from analysing those managers' flagship funds and selecting some vehicles for its own products.
