CaixaBank’s debt fund has provided Spanish digital freight operator OkCargo with €2 million of growth debt.
Expansión reported the financing as growth debt from the bank’s debt fund, structured for technology companies with a validated model that are scaling and want growth capital alongside earlier equity rounds.
Proceeds will support OkCargo’s 2026–2028 growth plan: technology and product, including automation and AI assistants for operations and commercial processes; expansion on international flows, key national corridors and verticals such as DeCA electronic control documents and OkCargo Select, its spot freight marketplace; and hiring in sales and technology.
OkCargo is a digital full-truckload road freight operator. Co-founded by Luis Sanz, with Carlos Cancela as chief executive, it matches shippers and carriers on complete loads. The company said the second quarter of 2026 saw loads up 32.5% and revenue up 39.7% year on year, with international activity up 210% and empty kilometres reduced to 8.2%.
Terms beyond the €2 million growth-debt label were not disclosed.
