Atempo Growth and VerisFi Capital have provided $130 million of debt facilities to Scan.com to support M&A and working capital. The lenders did not disclose how the facilities were split.

The debt is part of a $220 million combined equity and debt financing announced as Scan.com’s Series C.

London-founded Scan.com sells a medical imaging network that matches patients to scans on availability, quality and price, and handles booking, paperwork and results in one place. Employers, health plans, digital health providers and workers' compensation systems connect to that capacity through a single API.

Scan.com said it will use the capital to expand its network of imaging providers across the United States and to invest in the API and AI that routes patients, schedules scans and returns diagnostic results.

Charlie Bullock, co-founder and Chief Executive, and Oliver Knight, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, expanded the company into the US in 2023 after building what Scan.com describes as the UK's largest medical imaging network. Operations are now live nationwide. More than 900,000 patients have used the network globally, and the company said revenue doubled over the past year to more than $165 million of annualised run rate.

Bullock said the United States runs around 600 million medical imaging scans a year without a national infrastructure of the kind labs built around Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp. He said an employer, health plan or digital health app can now connect to imaging capacity nationwide through the API, with patients scanned in days rather than weeks at a price they can see before they book.

The $90 million Series C was led by Noteus Partners, with Aviva, Concord Health Partners, YZR Capital, Oxford Capital and others participating. The round follows a $12 million Series A in April 2023, co-led by Aviva Ventures, YZR Capital, Oxford Capital, Triple Point Ventures and Simplyhealth Ventures, with Forefront Venture Partners participating, which Scan.com said would scale its US operations. Oxford Capital and YZR had co-led a 2021 seed, and Triple Point Ventures led a £2.2 million extension in 2022.

Atempo, a European growth lender founded in 2021 by Luca Colciago, Jack Diamond and Matteo Avramov Giulivi, reached a third close of €455 million on Atempo Growth II in February 2026, taking assets under management to €850 million against a €500 million target, with a final close due by the end of the third quarter of 2026.

VerisFi is a Florida specialty finance firm that provides structured debt solutions.
