SG Credit Partners and Wingspire Capital have expanded Los Angeles-based Skylight's credit facility to $75m, adding $25m to the prior commitment. SG, described by Skylight as a longtime partner, participated in the increase alongside Wingspire Capital. The tenor or maturity, pricing, facility structure and split of the $25m increase between the lenders were not disclosed.
Skylight said the added capacity will help it widen its product lineup and move into more channels and markets. The funding will support new products, including continued development of Skylight Buddy, a routine coach for children, and deeper investment in Skylight Assistant, an AI-powered family assistant that users can text.
Founded in 2014, Skylight makes Skylight Calendar, a touch-screen family calendar, Skylight Frame, a touch-screen digital photo frame, and Skylight Buddy. The business said it doubled in its biggest year yet and now reaches more than 12 million customers, including 1.7 million households using Skylight Calendar.
Skylight said it has remained bootstrapped, putting profits back into its products. Chia Chung, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Skylight, said, "This commitment lets us double down on what's working and create dedicated products for every stage of family life."
SG Credit Partners announced a $15m senior debt investment in Skylight in August 2023 to support inventory purchases. In April 2025, Skylight announced a $50m credit facility through an expanded partnership with SG and new partner Wingspire Capital; that release said SG had previously provided a $20m facility and had increased its commitment to $50m, bringing in Wingspire Capital.
SG Consumer Products is a division of SG Credit Partners, a Southern California-headquartered private credit manager for lower middle market businesses that says it has provided more than $1.3bn to lower middle market entrepreneurs. Wingspire Capital offers solutions of up to $200m for middle market companies and is a portfolio company of Blue Owl Capital Corporation.
