Genesis Alternative Ventures has provided Triangle Group with a $5 million venture debt facility. The loan sits inside a $15 million package that includes a $10 million equity seed led by DSG Consumer Partners. Triangle Group, the Singapore company, announced the package on 5 August 2026.

Golden Gate Ventures, the Oberoi Family Office and angel investors joined the equity round. DSG Consumer Partners said the seed is its first investment in live entertainment.

Triangle said it will use the capital to scale live touring and festival infrastructure across Asia-Pacific and to add consumer-facing services, including travel and hospitality packages.

Triangle Group is a Singapore-based live entertainment company that funds, routes, produces and promotes tours and festivals across the region.

The group, formerly Creation Collective, was established in 2024. It is headquartered in Singapore and said it operates in 18 cities across nine countries, with teams in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia. Greg Hargrave, Chief Executive and Co-Founder, is a former Chief Executive of Skilled Group. Zaran Vachha, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Culture and Creative, has worked on Asia's touring and festival circuit. Matthew Qi-Tao is Chief Financial Officer.

Roger Field, formerly President of Live Nation Asia Pacific and Chief Executive of Live Nation Australia and New Zealand, has joined as Executive Director and Operating Partner after a year as an adviser and investor. Field spent 13 years at Live Nation and, from 2020, was responsible for 11 markets.

Eddy Ng, Partner at Genesis Alternative Ventures, said: "We are delighted to partner with Triangle as they build the infrastructure behind APAC's experience economy."

Genesis Alternative Ventures is a Singapore firm that provides venture debt to venture-backed, growth-stage companies in Southeast Asia. Ben J Benjamin, Jeremy Loh and Martin Tang founded the firm in 2019.

Genesis closed its second Southeast Asia-focused venture debt fund at $125 million on 10 September 2024. More than 80 per cent of Fund I investors returned, including Aozora Bank, Korea Development Bank, Mizuho Leasing, Sassoon Investment Corporation and Silverhorn. New limited partners included Mizuho Bank and OurCrowd. At close, Genesis said Fund II had already deployed more than $20 million of venture loans in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Genesis closed Fund I at $80 million in April 2021. Investors in that fund included Sassoon Investment Corporation, Aozora Bank, Korea Development Bank, Silverhorn, CIMB Niaga and Capria.
