OnMobile Global has raised Rs 40 crore, about $4.2 million, in financing from alternative credit platform BlackSoil to expand its ONMO+ Smart Console cloud gaming offering in India.
The Bengaluru-headquartered listed company will use the financing for infrastructure deployment, establishing a controller supply chain and distribution through retail outlets, online marketplaces and telecom operator channels.
ONMO+ has an entry price of Rs 4,999. The offering works across smart TVs, laptops, tablets and smartphones, and its subscription includes more than 100 games.
OnMobile operates in 41 countries and has more than 69 million monthly active subscribers across gaming, entertainment and enterprise. The company reported a consolidated net loss for FY2026.
Radhika Venugopal, Whole-time Director and Chief Financial Officer of OnMobile, said: "BlackSoil will help us scale this vision and bring ONMO+ to more players across India through retail, marketplaces and telecom channels."
Ankur Bansal, Managing Director of BlackSoil, said: "India has one of the largest gaming audiences in the world, yet premium console gaming has barely scratched the surface of that base."
